Atlantic coast of Cape Town
The stretch of coastline between the city center of Cape Town and Hout Bay undoubtedly makes it clear why so many people want to settle in Cape Town and, above all, where. Here, close to the city and where the sun shines all day long, Capetonians, Johannesburgers and of course many Europeans have set up their vacation homes and retirement residences.
The suburbs and other towns along the Atlantic coast
Sea Point is dominated by multi-storey apartment blocks and a number of restaurants and mid-range hotels, while Clifton, with its four beautiful beach bays and whitewashed villas, is only for those who can afford to pay at least 7-digit Rand prices for their own four walls. Finally, Camps Bay, with its large sandy beach, is a seaside resort, party venue and trendsetter all in one. We want to explore and describe the other places and sights along the Atlantic coast in the form of a virtual trip to Cape Point on the southern tip of the Cape Peninsula.
